Zingerone Uses :

The ether can introduce very pleasant and usual inimiatable notes of chypres, Fougers, clover, Hycinth etc. it is stable in soap. It can also be used as a novel additive to mossbase.

As flavour it is an important part of Hazelnut imitation flavour, coconut, walnut, fruit complexes and in trace amount in vanilla imitation. The normal concentration is about 5 to 10 ppm in finished products.
